Palestinian Territories Citizenship

The Palestinian territories are not recognized as an independent country and do not issue their own passports or citizenship. They have an aspiration for statehood but lack full sovereign recognition. Palestinians in these territories carry various documents like Palestinian Authority travel documents, but these do not confer citizenship or nationality. The Palestinian Authority plans to issue a Palestinian passport at some point for international travel, but this is not yet operational.

There is no formal citizenship or residency programme in the Palestinian territories. See our programme page for a full list of countries where you can buy citizenship.
